Section 10
Types of employment
: (1) The employer may engage the worker in any of the following types of employment:
(a) Regular employment,
(b) Executive Employment,
(c) Temporary employment,
(d) casual employment,
(e) Partial employment. Explanation: For the purpose of this section,—
(1) "Regular employment" means any type of employment other than the employment mentioned in clauses (b), (c) and (d).
(2) "Executive employment" shall mean the employment assigned or provided by the employer to perform a specific work or service.
(3) "Temporary employment" means the employment given or provided by the employer to the worker for a specified period of time to provide a service or complete work within that period.
(4) "Casual employment" means the employment given or given by the employer to the worker for a period of seven days or less in a period of one month to provide a service or complete work.
(5) "Part-time employment" means employment that is given or provided for thirty-five hours or less in a week.
(2) If there is a question whether an employment is regular or not, regardless of what is mentioned in the employment contract, it will be determined based on the nature of the work.
